CrossFit WOD (entry 1)

So I have a couple of you friends who are asking about CrossFit workouts that I'm doing. Instead of sending out mass emails that will get lost in the mix I figured that posting recent workouts on my blog will help give me ideas later down the road while also giving you a place to come see a new workout when you are ready for one!

So today was super hard for me. I have little to no upper body strength and so the handstand push ups were very difficult. Here is how today's WOD went.

21 dead lifts at 80 pounds
21 handstand push ups (modified with my knees resting on a bench)
15 dead lifts
15 handstand push ups
9 dead lifts
9 handstand push ups

21 kettle ball swings (with 25 pound kettle ball)
21 jumping lunges
15 kettle ball swings
15 jumping lunges
9 kettle ball swings
9 jumping lunges

1 min jump rope (I can't do double unders yet so it was just single)
1 min sit ups

Today wasn't as hard as other day with the exception of the push ups. I'm really struggling with those. The dead lifts I could have used more weight and the kettle ball swings are just really easy for me but the jumping lunges were a PAIN IN THE REAR (literally).:-) Enjoy this!
