Wow, it has been a loooong time since my last post and so much has happened between then and now but trust me, that is a whole post in itself that I don't have the energy to focus on all the details right now. Tonight I bring to you the "Power of DO!"
One of the things that has really developed over the past couple months is Bubba's ability to verbally share his thoughts, emotions and feelings. It is like a Hollywood script daily as he makes sure we ALL hear and understand what it is he needs, wants or thinks he needs or wants. Recently a new word has entered his vocabulary and it is a very POWERFUL word.
DO
Now to the untrained ear this word sounds very simple and easy to understand but I bring to you tonight a new definition of this word. I call this the "Bubbster's Dictionary" meaning and it goes something like this.....
DO (noun, verb, adjective, pronoun, adverb, and every other part of speech available determined by volume and passion in which the word is verbally delivered)
Origin: Bubba's mouth
Meaning: Dear Mother and Father whom I have the fondest of opinion. While I recognize that you are merely attempting to prevent a sure disaster by assisting me with said task, activity, adventure or delight I would prefer if you would allow me the graces to use my new found Independence to complete said task, activity, adventure or delight on my own without any further collaboration. In fact, while you are removing yourself from the premise and allowing me to create a mess which will require mother to clean for hours in an attempt to erase my blunder I would appreciate it if you would refrain from any words of advice or encouragement because quite frankly I can DOOOOOOOOO!
So in saying that, WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF THE 2'S BUBBA! GONNA BE QUITE A YEAR (Oh please let it only be 1 year. Please don't let this bleed into the 3's):-)
